In the age of Love, only a few believe in arrange marriage. But everything has pros and cons and due to the reel world, we forgot all the pros of arranged marriage and we accepted all the cons of a love marriage.
So are there any benefits of arranged marriage or it is just a granddaddy idea to suppress and take control of the children’s life? There are some good and practical reasons to support arranged marriage let us discuss some of them.
- Experience – It takes a lot of life experience to understand and know other people and your parents and your family have a lot of life experience than you. You might think you know a person like in love marriages persons always reasons with “I know him/her for X number of years”. But you must always remember there is a huge difference between when you think you know a person and when you really know a person.
- Expectation – When you are in love you know a person and thus there are expectations from your partner and if those expectations are not fulfilled it hampers your relationship unlike in arranged marriage you don’t have any expectations from your partner due to this expectation rarely hampers a arrange marriage.
- Carefree attitude – In a love marriage you might have a carefree attitude as you know the other person very well and thus you might think “(s)he will understand this and (s)he knows me” but the situation is different when you live together unlike in the arrange marriage you never have a carefree attitude you always approach a arrange marriage very carefully.
So is this mean Arrange marriage is better than a love marriage? No, I never meant it and I don’t believe anyone is better than the other it’s just that both have their pros and cons.
So my friend I just want to tell you that it does not matter if you love first then marry or if you marry first then love the utmost that matter is love and cupid will strike an arrow in your heart and in your life and when that will happen, enjoy that moment it might or might not happen again.
Life will move on but that moment is going to be always with you.
