Most people are confused about why we need SQL. Don’t we have Excel to process and analyze data? Then what is the use of SQL?
Let me take an example to explain this:
Think of Data as Money, your bank as SQL, and your wallet as excel.
So, when you need to do a short transaction, you use the cash from your wallet. But what if you have to do a transaction in millions or billions? Would you use cash?
No, we would use our bank account.
The same is the case with SQL. When the data is small, excel is convenient but when the data becomes huge, we would need to use SQL for analyzing data.
Now let us start learning SQL.
